The rake at this room is pretty stock standard. This online poker room
did offer better value for the lower limit games, but is now the standard
5 per cent, capped at $3 for the medium limit games. For the lower limit
games a max of $1 for $1/$2 games and 50 cents for $0.5/$1 games is taken
out of the pot. However, this is only taken if the pot reaches $20 and
$5 respectively, which is not a bad deal. For higher limit games Party
Poker offers pretty good value with significantly less than 5 per cent
taken out of each pot.

 Although
only a little over 3 years old, Party has developed at an astonishing

Recently Party have introduced the 5 steps tournament program. This can
be played on multi-table or single-table versions, players can buy-in
at any step level, $11, $50, $200, $500 or step 5 at $1,000. Alternatively
players can qualify for the step above, in single tables for example:
by finishing 1st or 2nd in the $11, step 1 phase, you will be given a
free entry into the $50 step 2 phase. The same applies for step 2 but
this time if you finish 3rd you are given another free chance and 4th
loops you back down a step plus a small cash bonus of $3. Finally if you
make it to step 5, the first 4 players are paid, $1,200 for 4th up to
$4,500 to the winner. For an $11 investment this represents superb value
for money.
Customer Service
No problems here, an online floor person is available 24 hours a day,
although it can take a few minutes to get a response due to the number
of players Party handles. Email support is always dealt with swiftly and
is a good option is you don't require urgent assistance.
